The Scottish Dermatological Nursing Society (SDNS) was established to offer a Speciality group for nurses and health care professionals with an interest in Dermatology. The society is affiliated to the British Dermatological Nursing Group (BDNG) and the Scottish Dermatological Society (SDS)
The next SDNS AGM & Annual Conference will be held at the Campanile Hotel Glasgow on 4th May 2017. Application form and provisional programme can be accessed in events section.
Members of SDNS can apply for funding to attend conferences/ study days/ courses through the SDNS educational grant. This year there is also sponsorship for 2 delegates to attend the 2017 BDNG Conference in Belfast. for further imformation log into awards section
This year the Barbara Page Dermatology Nurse of the Year was awarded to Yvonne Murray. Yvonne is well respect among her colleagues in Ayrshire & Arran NHS for her dedicated and caring nature towards patients and staff. She also manages to find time for her role as SDNS regional representative for Ayshire & Arran and is a valued member of the committee.
Ann Joy( Fife) was award a scholarship for continuing education.
